A force is an influence which is itself a byproduct of its logical system.

Our Earth physically cannot exist without matter as a force. Its body could not be formed without collision as a force. Its life could not exist without attraction as a force. Its sentiments could not exist without survival as a force.

A deity, rather, is that force which cannot be killed.

The concepts of matter, collision, and attraction, can all be killed. We possess the ability to change matter’s shape, rendering it tangible. We may also choose to avoid collision by our conscious motor functions. Attraction can be mitigated by a repulsion originating in the mind. That leaves one exception.

A god is that deity which imposes its will through neutral subjugation.

Because the nature of our existence is one based in time, survival as a force cannot be killed. This is the nature of our separation from the state of God. This is also the system by which we mistake gods for the sole inheritors of the universe. Our survival relies upon us being superior to the competitors for our resource of time. God is the primal sentiment. He is the clay tablet upon which our ideas exist.

What can be considered idolatry is for our ideas to be mistaken as God. Our collective ideas become gods. These gods make us subject to their rule. This is the nature of consensus. In our societies, we are subjected to reality based on that consensus. We act within our norms based upon the idea of acceptance. Acceptance is necessary for our survival in our world based on resource division. Therefore, the pantheon is nothing more than images we have shaped to guide society in a favorable path.

We describe the gods as immortal, but only because we wish them to be. An immortal idea ensures the survival of our kind through proof of existence. This can be true at an extinction level as well as at a generational level. We will do anything to feel as though we have been important enough to be remembered by the universe.

However, these gods born of desperation are violent in nature. Sentiments born of anxiety brew violence. This is the negative in idolatry. In mistaking a part for the whole, we lead others away from the nature of humanity: to create our own gods.

God is different in this way, as he can be identified with the neutral creation of the systems and fabric that support forces. He is not actively affecting the events of the physical universe to make these forces occur, but rather imposed a collection of probabilities and values in the bedrock of the universe which make these forces necessary. This makes the bedrock indistinguishable from God. This makes God the bedrock. Thus, the bedrock is synonymous with God. The bedrock has programmed each living being with unique value sets. To impose one’s own value sets as universal for the collection of humanity is idolatry.
